Saint Mary’s Kitchen is a free meal program and community kitchen operating from the basement hall of St. Mary’s Church. It is powered by volunteers and combines service with culinary training and community building for everyone involved. If you’re interested in learning new skills while helping to feed the hungry in downtown, this may be the project for you!
Beyond the impressive cooking facilities, Saint Mary’s Kitchen has accessible washrooms, a shower, laundry facilities, and a large hall to welcome people from all walks of life. Our hope is that it will grow from a community kitchen into a space where diverse groups of people can come together, learning, growing, and eating in community.
